VALLE DEI LAGHI
Welcome to the Valle dei Laghi! We are in south-western Trentino between the city of Trento and Lake Garda, in a valley rich in natural and environmental beauties and an important historical and artistic heritage. The Valle dei Laghi is characterized by a particular landscape, in which Mediterranean and Alpine vegetation are mixed, and olive, beech, holm oak and conifers coexist, as well as laurel and moss, as well as various animal species such as roe deer, fox, hare, squirrel, badger. The western slopes of Mount Bondone overlook the valley, dense with woods, among which we find a splendid Alpine body of water at almost a thousand meters above sea level: Lake Lagolo. On Mount Bondone there is a renowned ski resort with more than 20 km of slopes with the possibility of practicing downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and alpine skiing. The Valle dei Laghi is an ideal place for all those who wish to spend a few moments of peace, in contact with still unspoiled nature, but at the same time spend an active holiday! Thanks to the mild climate due to the presence of 7 lakes, the valley has many offers for all those who wish to practice outdoor sports: for horse riding enthusiasts they cannot miss a horse ride with Ranch Cavalcailvento in Cavedine; for trekking lovers or mountain biking fans there are many paths in the woods and nature, as well as cycle paths that connect the various villages in the valley. The Mountain & Garda Bike route also passes by the Cavalcailvento riding center in Cavedine; for those who want to practice climbing there are numerous cliffs and via ferrata in Valle dei Laghi: San Siro cliff, Rio Sallagoni di Castel Drena, "La Cosina"
